Nice, huh? It's AMAZING. I feel like I'm staying at a resort. I don't think this is supposed to be the law school experience, but hey, I'll take it. We are staying in Woodside, CA. Right next to Stanford, and 30 minutes from the coast and from San Fran. It is so beautiful here, and such a variety of scenery. But sadly, it's only for two months of the summer. We better live it up because we will never live like this again... especially in California.
My job for the summer is to try and find a place that we can actually live if we decide to move here. Ha ha! That's a JOKE. We drove by some ok-ish neighborhoods the other day and picked up a 'for sale' paper from just an average-ok-ish house, and the price tag was $1.275 million. Yeah. Not happening.
But I have no right to complain- we are staying in this fabulous resort-home in the middle of the redwood forest, in the most beautiful place I have ever seen. We'll just focus on the here and now and not worry about the future.

This is the night view from our bedroom deck. Sunrises are incredible. We can watch them every morning from bed. I am way too lucky and spoiled.

This is the dog, Beau, that we are watching. That's how we got the house, we're dog-sitting.

Holy cow! We should all get to live in that kind of house. How nice. And that puppy looks sweet. :)
If you need somewhere to live in the San Fran area, I've got a blog friend that lives in Oakland that might could give you some ideas. Email me.
So, I am retarded. I totally called you the other day thinking you were still in Utah! Love the house, its amazing! Maybe you should invite me to visit... :)
Are you kidding me? How did you guys find these people and luck out?! All you have to do is watch a dog?! You scored! And you're right, live it up!!!! It looks absolutely beautiful!
Wow. Wow. Wow. That is amazing. I have a sister-in-law that lives just outside of San Fran if you need ideas. I can give you her info, she'll be glad to help.
Hey, we will be stopping by for a visit! Ha Ha, I wish! That is awesome! I don't know though, is it worth it to have to watch a dog? (just in case you can't catch my tone in my writing, that's a sarcastic comment).
There is no way you're living there. That's not even a real house. you just made a model. This whole thing is absolutely preposterous. I mean who has a house that big?
I had no idea you moved!! I am shocked! It's amazing! Good luck finding something if you decide to stay!
I love that you get to stay at the house because of the dog. That makes me giggle. I wonder if the people would have wanted you to just house sit if there was no dog involved?
