This is our current residence
My job for the summer is to try and find a place that we can actually live if we decide to move here. Ha ha! That's a JOKE. We drove by some ok-ish neighborhoods the other day and picked up a 'for sale' paper from just an average-ok-ish house, and the price tag was $1.275 million. Yeah. Not happening.
But I have no right to complain- we are staying in this fabulous resort-home in the middle of the redwood forest, in the most beautiful place I have ever seen. We'll just focus on the here and now and not worry about the future.

Dang I'm funny

Most everyone has heard this story, but in case anyone hasn't, I just want y'all to know how funny I am. Bill Murray was on our flight from Charleston to Atlanta. Of course we kept turning around (yes he was flying coach!) and staring at him, trying to figure out if that was REALLY Bill Murray on our flight. Being big Bill Murray fans, we were totally stoaked but come on--we didn't want to be those annoying fans who try to talk to celebs and stuff when they obviously want to be left alone. So anyway, we got off the plane and he was right behind us!! I was totally star-struck and had to say something, so as he walked by, I just said
"We are HUGE fans", he said thanks, and then I said "Sorry for staring at you on the plane..." and he said "Oh that's ok, you didn't frighten me" and then tongue in cheek, I said "...You're just so attractive!" And he totally laughed and said "Yeah right!" Ha!! Bill Murray totally laughed at my joke! I am officially HILARIOUS!

Trip to SC
We just got back from the greatest trip to South Carolina. That is where I grew up, and I haven't been back for 10 years! It was so fun to show Adam around (I just wish we could have done more of that--especially more visiting old friends) and he LOVED it! Madeline was actually quite a good traveller (which is good because we're going to be doing a lot of it this summer!) Here are some fun pics, enjoy!of it this summer!) Here are some fun pics enjoy! (Blogger will only let me upload this many pics, so I will try to make a slideshow and post that with all pics.)
This is at the state house --the grounds are gorgeous, covered with all sorts of plants.

My old house!!!
We saw so many old friends, went to my old ward, talked with my old neighbors! So much fun! Special thanks to Kassie, who let us stay at her beautiful house!
After we were in Columbia, we spent a couple of days in Charleston, touring, eating incredible shrimp and grits, ribs, and Maurice's bbq! Yum... We had a great great time! Now it's packing up time for the summer ... on to more adventures on the West coast!

New Obsession
I am completely obsessed with wormholes right now. Weird, yes. However, the subject is soooooo intriguing, I became obsessed after watching a History Channel Special.
Last night. when Adam and I were laying in bed about to fall asleep, I said "Do you know what a worm hole is?" . LOL. and then randomly spaced about 7 minutes apart so that he couldn't fall asleep I piped up with all these random facts about wormholes. Anyway, you should check it out it's really quite interesting:
